About Me

My name is Grant Douglas, I'm a senior security consultant @Cigital and have been working here for over 3 years. I perform work in all aspects of Mobile security but being an Apple fanatic I primarily spend most of my time dabbling with iOS and OSX.

Some friends and I developed an iOS and OSX application pairing called Touch Unlock which allows you to use your Touch ID enabled iOS devices to unlock your Mac via Bluetooth Low Energy.

I am heavily involved in mobile tooling, working both on public projects, opensource and closed. I also work on various static and dynamic tooling efforts within Cigital. You can check out some of the things I've worked on, here on the blog and also on my github.

Prior to joining @Cigital I was working as a summer intern for four months at NCR Corporation, performing various security testing activities on Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) and ATM related software.

Going slightly further back I was a BSC Hons student at Abertay University studying Ethical Hacking and Countermeasures, graduating in 2013.
